2025 Skater
$1,799.00
With a fresh construction facelift and a new set of fins, the Skater is back and better than ever. This board is targeted not only at those transitioning from a twin tip but also holds great potential as an easy board for small – medium size surf, a solid option for strapless freestyle. The Skater’s optimized rail design and tuned profiling ensure that it maintains its surf roots while providing excellent grip and control in flat-water riding, making it the easy way into surf-style kiting.
The Skater’s durable new construction focuses on strength and comfort, with a PVC sandwich deck construction that maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio. Built with EPS cores, carbon stringers, bamboo, high-density foam, and high-tensile fiberglass, this design prevents heel dents and offers optimum reflex. Additional glass on the rails enhances durability and stability in challenging conditions.
With a new set of fins, the Skater utilizes a Future Fin setup to offer a high level of modularity. Naish has collaborated with MFC to create a fin range specifically for kitesurfing, enhancing the board’s adaptability and performance in different wave conditions. Its optimized rail design, featuring thinner rails, delivers excellent grip and control for easy edging and bottom turning. This design is perfect for newcomers to strapless riding, providing a smooth transition and enhanced control.
The tuned profiling, with square rails, maximizes a “”twin tip”” feel while maintaining surf roots, ensuring a balanced and versatile riding experience. Hand groove-grips on the deck ensure an easy grab for strapless freestyle, too. Additionally, the Skater includes Groove Lock Traction, a 3-piece traction pad optimized for underfoot grip without compromising positioning. The arch traction pad offers extra grip and comfort with the option to ride with foot straps for a locked-in feel and further ease for those transitioning from a twin-tip.
